Negative ions are mostly used with air cleaners. Beside that, however, it is considered that the promotion of blood circulation, which improves our health, is more important function of negative ions, and our products are designed for this purpose.
Negative ions are known as air cleaner to most people and used for that purpose, and this is somewhat true. Small particles in the air, for instance, pollen, germs, dust, etc., are usually positively charged. Negative ions neutralize such particles and make them fall to the ground and clean the air.
For example, dust is collected around the plants that produce many negative ions. These plants(e.g., Sansevieria) use the dust as their nutrition. All plants have the same effect because those that don't produce many negative ions still produce about one half of what Sansevieria produces. About 1,000/cm³ negative ions can be found where many plants are placed near a window.
When negative ion generators are used, since they can remove germs from air, the transmission of bacterias are reduced to some extent, and also allergies caused by pollen. But this effect is only to some extent and can't be expected all the time.
On the other hand, our products focus on promoting blood circulation and improve the user's health, not for the air cleaning purpose, so they are designed that most of the negative ions can be absorbed to the body. This is the difference between our products and other negative ion generators.
